Motorist clocked driving 242kmph through Kildare

A driver has been caught going double the speed limit on the M4.

Gardaí in Naas stopped the motorist who was going 242 kilometres per hour.

The driver has been arrested, and officers are reminding drivers to slow down with wet conditions in many parts of the country.
