Drivers warned of icy roads as temperatures dip in Carlow and Kilkenny

A cold weather warning remains in place across Carlow and Kilkenny this morning.

A Met Eireann yellow alert for low temperatures and ice is affecting the whole country until 10am.

Temperatures locally dipped as low as minus 4 in parts of Carlow and Kilkenny overnight.

It’s resulted in a sharp frost and you’re being warned of icy stretches on a number of local routes this morning.
