Leaving Cert students in Carlow and Kilkenny sit down to final exams today

Today marks the last day of the written exams for  Leaving Cert 2022.

Most students across Carlow and Kilkenny have already finished up but those sitting Japanese, Arabic and Politics and Society are still going this morning.

While Physical Education brings the 15 day run of tests to a close this afternoon

More than 2,000 students sat the exams locally this year.

They will be receiving results on September 2nd.
