Parts of north Carlow covered in snow this morning

People in parts of north Carlow have been waking up to snow this morning. 

There’s a status yellow warning for ice and snow for counties Kildare, Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Westmeath and Leitrim.

While Wicklow with Dublin, Louth and Meath have a status yellow rain warning, though the white stuff has been falling there too.

Northern Ireland has had a heavy falls with reports of vehicles getting stuck in parts of Fermanagh.

Schools have closed in the worst affected areas while motorists in bordering spots are asked to not travel.
