Parents and guardians concerned about back to school costs reminded there are supports in Carlow and Kilkenny

Supports are available locally for those struggling with back to school costs. 

We’ve been hearing from parents and guardians of young people due to either start or return for the new academic year.

Jackie Cullen’s with Kilkenny Helping the Homeless which is taking donations of uniforms and getting them to those who can’t afford new ones;

Simon Lewis is Principal of Carlow Educate Together and says some schools have their own initiatives in place;
