One man taken to hospital following crash in Kilkenny last night

Emergency services responded to a two-vehicle crash on the R712 at Kilmacahill, Paultown, shortly before 6pm last evening.

One motorist, a man in his late 20s, was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital for Carlow/Kilkenny for assessment. The occupant of the second vehicle was assessed at the scene.

There were no reports of life-threatening injuries.
