Illegal parking on footpaths and in disabled bays to be targeted by Gardaí in Carlow and Kilkenny

Illegal parking on footpaths and disabled bays will be targeted by Gardaí today.

Their Operation Enable takes place on the Disability Federation of Ireland‘s Make Way Day which highlights the challenges faced by people living with a disability or a mobility issues.

Bins, placards, bicycles are among the obstacles on local streets – you’re asked to be extra conscious of these while Gardaí will be ensuring compliance in spots where wheelchair access is required.
