One student from a local school is celebrating an enterprise award
Michael O’Keeffe from St Kierans College was awarded 1st prize in Intermediate Category at this year’s Student Enterprise Programme National Finals.

Supported by Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny Michael worked under the guidance of his teacher, Jennie Brennan.
The business was called: “Suet & Song” which markets nutrient-rich suet cakes that provide sustenance for a variety of birds during the colder months.
