Gardaí in Kilkenny warning of perils of latest online prank

Gardai in Kilkenny are warning people of the perils of pranking.

They say they’ve received several reports from people who believe a dishevelled individual had broken into their home and was sitting on their couch or elsewhere.

It appears they’ve fallen for a new A.I. trend on TikTob that places an avatar in a scene familiar to them.

While it’s seen as a bit of fun for those circulating the images, a reminder’s been issued that some in our community may be upset or scared by it.
