Health Minister confirms Government commitment to new south east ambulance base

The Health Minister has confirmed the government’s commitment to a new ambulance base for the south-east.

Jennifer Carroll MacNeill says the HSE and the National Ambulance Service have identified a suitable facility in Gorey in County Wexford and are in the process of securing approval.

Submission of a planning application is expected in early 2026.
