Two men being questioned following reports of alleged assault in Tipperary

Two men in their twenties are being questioned following reports of an alleged assault in Tipperary on Saturday night.

A man in his forties was treated at the scene at Knockane, and brought to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
