Vehicles clocked speeding on M9 through Carlow, one at 150km/h

At least four vehicles were clocked speeding on the M9 through Carlow yesterday.

Gardaí conducting checkpoints on the motorway clocked one motorcyclist moving at 150km/h with three other cars found to be travelling at between 139 and 147km/h.

They face €160 fixed charge with three penalty points.

Roads Policing Unit personnel say it’s “A reminder to all motorists to slow down and arrive alive”.
