South Kilkenny route closed after truck hits bridge

A south Kilkenny road’s been closed after a truck hit a bridge.

It happened in the last hour on the R448 old Mullinavat to Waterford road between the new bridge and The Night Cap pub at Dunkitt.

The stretch is closed between there and the roundabout close to Donnacha Doyle Funeral Home.

It’s not expected to open before 8o’clock tonight.
