Nobody injured in crash that saw a house as well as a bridge hit by a truck

Nobody was injured in yesterday’s incident which saw a truck hit a bridge.

It happened at about 4pm on the R448 at Dunkitt, Kilmacow, between Mullinavat and Waterford city, with Gardaí updating us to say a house was also struck at the time.

A large amount of damage was caused to both structures while the stretch of road was closed until 10pm approx last night.

A garda spokesperson’s told KCLR News that investigations are ongoing.
