County Kilkenny based writer outlines concerns regarding the positioning of books on Late Late Toy Show

An Inistioge based children’s author’s hit out at the lack of Irish books featured on the Late Late Toy Show.

Ruth Croke loved Friday night’s programme but was a bit miffed by the bulk of the exposure going to titles by well-known writers from other countries.

She told The KCLR Daily while she doesn’t herself want to be Grinch-like, it’s important young people encouraged to read.
