Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board (KCETB) held a special event for retired employees to acknowledge their service and thank them for their hard work and dedication in providing education services to the Kilkenny region.
The event highlighted decades of dedication, leadership, and commitment to students, families and communities who are a part of KCETB. Former colleagues were congratulated and presented with a piece of Kilkenny Crystal by KCETB Chairperson Cllr. Andrea Dalton, a heartfelt token of appreciation. KCETB Director of Further Education and Training, Martha Bolger thanked all of the retirees for their dedication and service.

Among those honoured on the evening were former Chief Executive Eileen Curtis, along with Elizabeth Thornton, of Kilkenny City Vocational School, who gave 48 years of service.
