The weather alerts may be done, for now, but care continues to be advised in Carlow and Kilkenny.
Many areas along rivers in both counties are still surrounded by saturated lands and there’s quite a bit of surface water about.
Rain’s falling again this morning and Met Éireann’s forecasting further outbreaks of rain and drizzle amid a cloudy day.
Meanwhile, Minister Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran over the weekend visited Waterford to see firsthand how recent flooding impacted people there having previously stopped off in Graignamanagh and Carlow town.
He’s now pledged to meet with Waterford City and County Council on the 4th of March to discuss the issue.
