Rathwood Enters Examinership and Pauses Refunds Following Record Consumer Complaints

Tullow-based garden centre and visitor park Rathwood has formally entered into examinership.

It follows a period of intense public criticism and a recent CCPC investigation regarding a massive backlog of unfulfilled orders and unpaid refunds.

Despite entering the court-led restructuring process, management confirmed that the store, restaurant, and gardens remain fully open for business as usual.

The company stated it is currently unable to address outstanding payment or refund requests, which will be handled as part of the examinership process.
