KCLR analyst Pat Hoban says Graigue Ballycallan can take huge confidence from their strong finish against Mullinavat in yesterday’s St. Canice’s Credit Union Kilkenny Senior League.
Graigue Ballycallan made it three wins in a row with a 2-25 to 3-16 victory over Mullinavat.
Hoban was particularly impressed with how the young Graigue Ballycallan side pushed on in the closing stages to secure the win.
Speaking to KCLR Sport, he said: “They really pushed on in the last 10, 15 minutes, and were deserving winners.”
He believes the result puts Graigue Ballycallan in a strong position heading into the next stage of the league.
With three consecutive victories now under their belt, Hoban says there is plenty of reason for the side to be optimistic about what they can achieve from here.
