The last of the funerals for the five teenagers killed in the M9 crash nine days ago takes place later this morning.
Family & friends of Jack Kennedy will gather at St Michael’s Church in Athy, Co Kildare for Mass at 11 o’clock which will be followed by a private cremation. (RIP.ie notice here).
The 17-year-old was killed with four others, two of whom were from Carlow, after the car they were travelling in was driven the wrong way on the motorway in the early hours of Sunday (16th August) – it hit another vehicle carrying three sisters and a younger family member from Carlow, all of whom remain seriously injured in hospitals in Dublin.
