Source of smoke in Kilkenny yet to be tracked down

The source of smoke in Kilkenny’s yet to be found.

KCLR’s been contacted this morning by a number of people in the city and south of the county all of whom say they can smell smoke, but don’t know where it’s coming from.

Gardaí say no incident’s been reported to them while a spokesperson for Kilkenny County Council says “There are no Kilkenny Fire Service units attending any fire incidents at present. We have been made aware of this phenomenon which seems to be affecting the county but we have had no emergency calls.”
