Business on Kilkenny / Waterford border set to open today

There’s a new offering on the Kilkenny / Waterford border from today.

Helen’s Bar & Restaurant, named after local businesswoman Helen Meyler fronting it with Mark McMahon, opens its doors on Fountain Street in Ferrybank, at the former Village Bar/Chinese, according to Ferrybank Community Newsletter.

The focus initially is on the bar from 3 o’clock this afternoon with confirmation due for the restaurant’s start.
