Cairn Community Games finals in Carlow hailed a huge success

Carlow’s proving to be a popular spot for the Cairn Community Games.

The events see young people aged between six and sixteen years compete in a variety of categories, sport and other, with finals hosted at different points of the country, including Kilkenny.

About 3,000 athletes turned out for the recent National Track & Field and Outdoor Team Finals hosted at the SETU Carlow campus while this weekend it’s the turn of the finalists in the National Arts & Culture category with thousands more due at The Visual and St Patrick’s College Carlow.
