Councillor on Wexford Kilkenny border signs up to Independent Ireland

A New Ross Councillor’s signed up to Independent Ireland.

Originally a Fianna Fáil representative, Michael Sheehan went Independent in 2024.

Cllr Sheehan’s now revealed he’s become a member of Independent Ireland and will be its spokesperson on finance and enterprise.

Party officials joined him on the Wexford / Kilkenny border for the announcement;
