There’s a big weekend ahead in Kilkenny, with the Senior Hurling Championship quarter-finals taking place across Saturday and Sunday.
All four games from UPMC Nowlan Park will be live on KCLR.
On Sunday, Glenmore face Ballyhale Shamrocks, with that game live thanks to Gerry Comerford Drilling Limited.
Glenmore booked their place in the quarter-finals with a dramatic 5-28 to 3-27 extra-time victory over Dicksboro last weekend.
Speaking after the game, Glenmore manager Seámie Dollard praised his side for the way they kept fighting, having also battled back from difficult positions against Mullinavat and Clara earlier in the championship.
“The Mullinavat game was gone, and the Clara game was really gone, but they found a way to come back and draw. That takes a bit of guts. They don’t panic, they don’t throw in the towel.
“We needed the second half today, and we got it. We needed extra time and we got it. I just felt momentum was with us, so I am absolutely delighted for the players.”
Glenmore now turn their attention to Ballyhale Shamrocks, with a place in the Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals up for grabs on Sunday.
