Parts of Carlow and Kilkenny could be impacted by weather advisories for Wexford and Waterford

Parts of our locality could be in for a wet and windy day with a Status Yellow warning in place for neighbouring Waterford and a high tide advisory for county Wexford. 

A number of counties across the south and west of the country fall under various notices from Met Éireann.

The national forecaster says very strong and gusty southeasterly winds are due with heavy rain in parts too.

While northern Leinster should start out dry, outbreaks of rain and drizzle are expected to spread northwards later this morning and afternoon.

High tide in Wexford is due at 8:09am and again at 8:33pm.
