Local people helping to build a greener, more sustainable future through Carlow town’s decarbonising zone is key to a campaign launched locally today.
County Council personnel have been unveiling how a small town can undertake a big mission.
KCLR News’ Martin Quilty’s at that gathering where the local authority’s Climate Action CoOrdinator Jannette O’Brien says the first step is breaking down some wordy terms;
Carlow’s Deputy Mayor, Cllr Andrea Dalton, is among those attending today’s proceedings;
The reveal took place at the Carlow County Fire & Rescue Services headquarters where the crew has been to the fore in making everyday changes (see their biodiversity gardens here and more on their more recent eco addition to their fleet here).
