A man is being questioned by Gardai in connection with 2 fires in Castlecomer yesterday.
He was arrested locally and is being detained in Kilkenny Garda station.

A car was discovered on fire early yesterday morning near Donaguile – it had been stolen earlier from Crettyard.
Dr Fraynes GP surgery in Coolbawn was also damaged in an early morning blaze.
Both incidents are still under investigation.
Meanwhile alternative arrangements have been made for patients of Dr Frayne.
Clogh Health Centre will house the practice for the next few days.
