Local businesses discuss mental health at work at seminar

Companies have to play a greater role in helping employees deal with their problems, be they depression, addiction or other health issues.

They’re the words of Cork hurler Conor Cusack speaking at today’s mental health at work talk which is being held this afternoon in Hotel Kilkenny.

Another speaker, Dr Harry Barry says bullying is a huge cause of stress inside and outside the workplace and is a killer.

Around 200 people are at the seminar this afternoon which is being hosted by Kilkenny Business Club.
