Phelan appeals for calm on Garda whistleblower controversy

Labour Deputy Ann Phelan has appealed for calm in relation to the Garda whistleblower controversy.

The terms of reference for an investigation into the matter were published last night.

Senior Counsel Sean Guerin has until Easter to complete his work, and report back to the government on whether a full commission of inquiry is necessary.
