Ex Kilkenny goalkeeper fears increase in cynical play after latest Nash ruling

A former Kilkenny goalkeeper believes the new rules surrounding penalties in hurling will lead to an increase in cynical play.

The Gaa moved earlier this week to clarify the rule surrounding striking of 20 metre free’s after Anthony Nash’s shot was saved by Waterford goalkeeper Stephen O Keefe in last week’s Munster q-final.
