TJ Reid scored 2-11 as Kilkenny overcame Galway in tonight’s Leinster senior hurling semi final replay.
The Ballyhale man notched his first goal inside 5 minutes and had 1-9 on the board at the break as Kilkenny led by two points, 1-11 to 1-9.

Kilkenny started with a changed side to the drawn game, Conor and Aiden Fogarty drafted in as well as Tommy Walsh, Brian hogan and Joey Holden.
Galway struggled to make any headway and with Joe Canning quiet Conor Cooney was left to keep the fight to the Cats
However once Aiden Fogarty pulled on a ball to send it to the Galway net the game was over as a contest and Reid wrapped it up with a third goal on the strike of full time to set up a mouthwatering tie with Dublin next weekend in Croke park as minors and senior’s clash in the respective provincial finals
