Top Irish Economist backs anti-CAS campaign

‘You change medieval cities at your peril’

Thats the warning from a leading Irish Economist who is backing the campaign to halt the plans for the Kilkenny Central Access Scheme.

A vote on a possible review now looks certain to be carried at a special meeting of the council this weekend.

David McWilliams is one of the organisers of the Kilkenomics Festival in Kilkenny each year and says the city itself makes a huge contribution to its success.

When it comes to the Central Access Scheme he says the council should listen to the people.
