Kilkenny’s Central Access Scheme continues to devide public opinion.
A motion calling for a project review, tabled jointly by Cllrs Malcolm Noonan and Kathleen Funchion, was discussed and passed at a special meeting held at County Hall yesterday.
A review date of Sept 1st has been set but further details have not yet been outlined.
However the local authority’s solicitor advised Councillors that they did not have the power to stop the works at this stage.
