Young man claims lotto prize from ticket bought in Kilkenny

The person who bought the 6 million euro winning lotto ticket in Kilkenny last week has collected his winnings.

The young man, who wants to remain private, travelled to Dublin this afternoon with his wife and family to collect the cheque for 5-point-nine million euro.

The winning ticket was sold in Spar Top Oil on Irishtown in Kilkenny and was an 8 euro quick pick.
