Interview – Bob Jackson

Bob Jackson is an Irishman who found himself in Cuba some years back enjoying his time there when he came across a phenomenally talented group of players. One among them was Erdwin Garcia, a musicians, singer and songwriter. Bob was so impresed was he that he travelled back and forth to Cuba to record this singer and his fellow musicians in conditions that could best be described as challenging.

The work was well worth it and it is a fine collection of music with a strong Cuban flavour, played with soulful and accomplished musicians. The album is called “Removiendo” and is available locally in Rollercoaster Records, Kilkenny.
