Contact local authorities if you find debris from Erin Foods site

Residents around the site of Saturday’s fire at Erin Foods, Carlow are advised not to go near it.

The factory on the Cannery Road is still cordoned off but Gardaí have withdrawn from the area and a private company is now maintaining security.

Director of Services with Carlow County Council, Dan McInerney wants to encourage anyone in the area to contact the council if they find anything they think may have come from the building.
