Teachers in secondary schools across Carlow and Kilkenny are striking today as part of a national one-day work stoppage.
This is the second such strike over reforms to the Junior Cert which would see 40 percent of the exam being assessed within the school.
The industrial action comes after talks between the Education Minister, the ASTI and the TUI collapsed last week.
Speaking to KCLR News today, teachers expressed their concerns over the changes.
