Green party Councillor opposed to shared library services

A local Green Councillor wants Carlow and Kilkenny to retain their own library services.

Malcolm Noonan is opposed to plans by the Dept of the Environment to introduced shared services into the future.

He says if anything, more money should be invested in our local libraries to ensure such vital services remain.
