Clock ticks towards submission deadline for Eirgrid review

Your chance to have a say on Eirgrid’s revised plans for the Gridlink project ends today.

A public consultation period has been open for 10 weeks now and individuals and various local groups have been examining and giving the energy company their feedback on the review.

Many are unhappy with it -one local group Care for Clara described it as a ‘token gesture’.

But Shane Griffin public affairs liaison for Eirgrid says this review was for all of their national projects but there will be a specific consultation for Gridlink before the year is out.
