Child hospitalised following incident in a Kilkenny hotel

A child is being treated in Crumlin Children’s Hospital today following an incident in the Springhill Court Hotel.

Emergency services were called to the Kilkenny hotel’s swimming pool this afternoon and the boy was taken by ambulance to St Luke’s Hospital in the City.

The child has now been transferred to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin but is believed to be in a stable condition.

Details of the incident are still unclear.
