An appeal to a closure order served on a puppy farm in Carlow is yet to be heard in the courts.
The council issued the notice on April 16th following an inspection of the premises near Myshall.
Hundreds of dogs were seized and have since been rehomed by the ISPCA.
The premises was re-inspected recently and as it is no longer in use as a dog breeding establishment was found to be compliant.
The owners of the premises have appealed the closure notice but the case is yet to be heard in the District court.
