Search underway in Tramore for missing Ballyragget man

The search for a Kilkenny man missing will focus around Tramore today.

It follows confirmed sightings of Ballyragget native Liam Roberts late last week in the area.

His family say a delivery driver has confirmed that he brought the 41 year old to Tramore on Thursday or Friday of last week and later saw him walking in the direction of the sand dunes away from the promenade there.

Gardai are examining CCTV footage in the area but volunteers have offered to search in the area today during low tide.
