Almost €1 million in grants allocated to local enterprise offices

Almost a million euro in grants have been allocated to the Local Enterprise Offices in Carlow and Kilkenny.

The offices were established last year to improve the supports available to start-up businesses around the country.

Locally for the coming year, the Kilkenny office will now have access to over 450 thousand euro while Carlow will be getting 417 thousand.

Local Fine Gael TD John Paul Phelan says that the small and medium enterprises that will benefit from this funding are highly important to the economy.
