Drop in number of houses built in Carlow

There’s been a significant drop in the number of new homes being built in Carlow.

As the property market and construction industry continues to fluctuate, figures published during the week show a drop in numbers compared to 2014.

The latest edition of the national housing construction index reveals that new builds have fallen by 36 percent in Carlow, in the first four months of the year.
