New bye-law will outlaw sulky racing in Kilkenny

A Kilkenny Councillor says a new bye-law will put a stop to sulky racing on our roads.

Andrew McGuinness was responding to a Prime Time programme that aired on TV last night in which a member of the local travelling community claimed only providing a track for them would prevent it.

Councillor McGuinness proposed the new law which was passed unanimously by the council and has since gone out to public consultation.
