High profile gardening experts will be in Carlow for the next 10 days

A number of high-profile names in the world of gardening will be gathering in Carlow from today.

The Carlow Garden Festival begins this evening and continues for the next ten days across the whole county.

Headed by Monty Don, the panel for this year’s Festival includes Helen Dillon, renowned plants expert, Seamus O’ Brien of the National Botanic Gardens, and TV gardening personality, Dermot O’Neill.

Eileen O’Rourke of Carlow Tourism says they’re expecting a good crowd for the week.
