Gardaí in Bagenalstown are investigating following a robbery in Leighlinbridge in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Raiders entered the Bypass Store on the main Carlow Road sometime between midnight and 7am.
They cut open a safe with an angle grinder and got a small amount of cash.
They also stole a large quantity of cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
It’s the second time the Bypass Store was broken into this week.
