3 arrested for animal cruelty at farm in Carlow

Three people have been arrested in connection with alleged animal cruelty and neglect at a farm in Co Carlow.

The arrests come after 351 dogs and 11 horses were removed from the farm during an 11 day joint operation involving the Gardai, Carlow County Council and the ISPCA in April.

The man and two women, all in their 40s, were detained at Carlow Garda Station this morning.
