Top Irish Actor adds his voice to Save the Barrow Line campaign

A top Irish actor has lent his support to calls for the Barrow Towpath to be left untouched.

Plans are in place to develop a shared use trail that would be known as the Barrow Blueway but a campaign group being chaired by broadcaster Olivia O’Leary wants to put a stop to it.

Gabriel Byrne who has a home near Inistioge says he’s walked it many times over the years.

And he told KCLR Live he’s concerned about what the changes would mean for the local beauty spot.
